Our Team

Ellis Nanney

Ellis Nanney has assumed the role of Executive Director on a volunteer basis in order to guide the programs development through its initial stages. Ivan was born and raised in Boise and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boise State University’s business program. He has a diverse professional background in entrepreneurship, marketing, event management, and sales. Most importantly, he has a deep appreciation for Idaho’s wilderness areas and the benefits to be gained from knowing them. He is backed by a well rounded advisory committee whose members bring experience and resources from all walks of life right here in Idaho’s Treasure Valley.

Nathan Warner

Outdoors Empowered Network

Outdoors Empowered Network

Program Mentor

Outdoors Empowered Network is a national network of community-led, youth-centered outdoor education groups that are dedicated to increasing access and diversity in the outdoors through gear libraries and outdoor leadership training.

We seed and support gear libraries around the country by providing gear fundraising, mentoring and consulting, and a professional community. Even with only a handful of members, we are already supporting access to nature for tens of thousands of young people each year. We look forward to a future where every community has access to a gear library and community-led outdoor experiences.

Grow Outdoor Access is a local, Idaho based initiative.
